Banks lowered 2019 oil price forecast in January – WSJ

Banks last month lowered slightly their forecasts for oil prices in 2019.

Brent crude is now expected to average just over $67 per barrel, down from the previous estimate of $69, according to a poll of 11 investment banks conducted by the Wall Street Journal.

Oil prices, however, are seen rising in the first half of the year, courtesy of the OPEC-led production cuts and drop in supplies from Iran and Venezuela.
