Brexit: There might be some room to manoeuvre for political statement on Irish backstop

Citing Spanish Foreign Ministry sources, Reuters recently reported that there might be room to “manoeuvre for the political statement” on the Irish backstop while noting that the format had not been decided upon yet. “The EU is not going to reopen the Brexit deal,” the source reiterated.
