Iran’s President Rouhani: Iran-US tensions are at ‘a maximum’

Iranian state broadcaster IRIB quoted the country’s President Hassan Rouhani in a cabinet meeting on Wednesday, as saying that tensions between Tehran and Washington were at “a maximum” at present, as Reuters reports.

Key Headlines:

“The struggle between Iran and America is currently at a maximum. America has employed all its power against us.”

The ties have rarely been as tense before.

A conference on the Middle East and Iran organized by the United States in Polish capital Warsaw last week not achieved its goals.

“This is another failure of the U.S. regional policies.”
