France, Germany agree on joint proposal for creation of eurozone budget – Reuters

Citing a German government document, Reuters recently reported that Germany and France agreed on a joint proposal for the creation of the euro zone budget. According to the document, the euro zone budgetary instrument will be a part of the wider EU budget and will support reforms identified by the European Comission. The budget will be used to finance investment projects to boost growth and promote competitiveness in diverging EU countries.
