The UK’s opposition Labour Party’s leader, Jeremy Corbyn, crossed the wires in the last minutes announcing that they will be putting proposals to Parliament next week in order to prevent a no-deal Brexit. Earlier in the day, British Prime Minister Theresa May said that she will be meeting with Corbyn with an aim to come up with a Brexit plan that can be supported by the Labour party and provided a much-needed boost to the British pound.
