According to Vicki Young, BBC’s chief political correspondent, British Prime Minister Theresa May and Labour Party’s leader Jeremy Corbyn could have more talks this weekend. However, Young says a deal on Brexit seems unlikely and adds: “They might be in agreement – their parties are not.”
The GBP/USD pair, which took advantage of risk-on flows throughout the day, didn’t pay much attention to this headline and was last up 0.32% on the day at 1.3170.
