Speaking to lawmakers in the House of Commons, the UK’s opposition Labour Party’s leader, Jeremy Corbyn, said that he was looking forward to meeting Prime Minister Theresa May on Brexit later today and added that he was ready for serious discussions. Corbyn further stated that he will insist that any deal with the PM will be written to law.
Markets don’t seem to be showing any interest to these comments and the GBP/USD pair was last seen trading at 1.3170, adding 0.32% on a daily basis.
