In a statement published by the Irish government late-Monday, Irish Prime Minister Leo Varadkar spoke to the British Prime Minister about her plan to seek a further Brexit extension from the EU, as cited by Reuters.
In a telephonic conversation with PM May, Varadkar “repeated his openness to an extension of the deadline”, the Irish government said.
