Japan to extend its sanctions against North Korea for two years – Reuters

Reuters reports the latest statement issued by the Japanese administration, citing that they have reached a decision today to extend its sanctions against North Korea for two years.

Key Details:

The sanctions would have expired on Saturday.

They impose a total ban on bilateral exports and imports, forbid the entry into Japan of North Korean-registered ships and also of vessels that have stopped at a North Korean port.
