Fed’s Kaplan: Too early to call for a rate cut

In an interview with Bloomberg, Dallas Fed President Robert Kaplan argued that it was too early to make a “judgement call” on a rate cut call and added that he needed to see a further deceleration in the economy before deciding. Kaplan reiterated that the Fed was in the neighbourhood of neutral rates right now.
