Mexico’s Obrador: Confident Mexico, US will reach an agreement and avoid imposition of tariffs

Mexican President Andres Manuel López Obrador crossed the wires in the last minutes reiterating that he was confident Mexico and the U.S. will reach an agreement and avoid imposition of tariffs. “Talks with the U.S. over tariff threat to resume this morning in Washington,” Obrador told reporters.
