Italy’s Conte: Italy determined to cut 2019 deficit to 2.1% GDP

Italian Prime Minister (PM) Giuseppe Conte is now crossing the wires, via Reuters, saying that they are determined to reduce the 2019 deficit to 2.1% of the GDP. Earlier in the day, Economy Minister Tria said that that they needed to have a clear path of debt reduction and added that the government will continue to work to strengthen constructive dialogue with EU.
