In an interview with ZDF Television, German Conservative Party member Manfred Weber called on the EU lawmakers to back Ursula von der Leyen as the next head of the European Commission, as the voting is scheduled later on Tuesday, as cited by Reuters.
Weber said: “We don’t need opposition now, what we now need is a constructive spirit.”
