UK Chief Treasury Secretary Sunak: Government will introduce Brexit legislation shortly

The UK Chief Treasury Secretary Rishi Sunak, speaking to BBC this Monday, said that the government will introduce Brexit legislation shortly and hopes speaker Bercow to allow a vote on the Brexit deal.

Meanwhile, the GBP/USD pair held on to its mildly weaker tone, albeit has managed to recover a part of its early dip and is currently placed comfortably above the 1.2900 round-figure mark.
