Wall Street close: Mixed close, S&P turns negative into closing bell

US benchmarks have closed mix on Wednesday as the euphoria dissipates.

S&P down 1 point, less than 0.1%, at close.
Dow closes about 25 points, 0.1%, lower.
Nasdaq closes about 4 points, less than 0.1%, higher.
