USD/INR New York Price Forecast: Dollar gains ground vs. Indian rupee, approaching 76.00 figure

The US dollar is gaining strength vs. the Indian rupee as the spot is heading towards record highs.
The level to beat for buyers is the 76.50 level.

USD/INR daily chart

The uptrend remains intact as the spot is well supported above the 74.00 level on broad-based USD demand. Buyers are looking for a breakout above the 76.50 level which would introduce scope to the 77.00 and 78.00 figures while support should be expected near 75.00, 74.40 and 73.50 price levels on any potential dip.
