US President Donald Trump is open to a phase-four coronavirus stimulus bill but rejects House Democrats’ proposal, White House spokeswoman Kayleigh McEnany told reporters on Thursday.
“President Trump is taking his time to determine if the fourth coronavirus stimulus bill is warranted,” McEnany added.
Market reaction
Wall Street’s main indexes erased a large part of the early losses in the last hour. As of writing, the Dow Jones Industrial Average was down 0.13% on the day while the S&P 500 and the Nasdaq Composite were losing 0.4% and 0.5%, respectively.
