Australia’s medical regulator approves AstraZeneca vaccine

Adding to the covid vaccine optimism worldwide, the Australian medical regulator granted provisional approval for AstraZeneca Plc’s COVID-19 vaccine on Tuesday.

Responding to the news, Prime Minister (PM) Scott Morrison said in a televised news conference, “Australia now has two safe and effective COVID-19 vaccines available.”
