Coronavirus update US: Arizona cases increase by 2,525 to 170,798

The latest data published by Arizona’s health department showed that the number of confirmed coronavirus cases in the state rose by 2,525 to a total of 170,798 on Thursday, as reported by Reuters.

Further details of the report revealed that COVID-19-related fatalities rose by 172, highest daily increase since the pandemic started, to 3,626 and the current hospitalizations fell by 76 to 2,348.

Market reaction

The US Dollar Index largely ignored this report and was last seen gaining 0.15% on a daily basis at 93.40.
