Coronavirus update US: Florida cases rise by 4,115 to 584,047

Florida’s Department of Health announced on Wednesday that the number of confirmed coronavirus cases in the state increased by 4,115 to a total of 584,047, as reported by Reuters.

Further details of the daily publication revealed that COVID-19-related deaths rose by 174 to 10,067 and the hospitalizations declined by 43 to 5,446.

Market reaction

The S&P 500 Index showed no significant reaction to this report and stretched higher in the last minutes to touch a fresh record-high of 3,396. Meanwhile, the US Dollar Index was up 0.25% on the day at 92.55.
