ECB still seen raising interest rates in Q3 2019 – survey

According to the latest Bloomberg survey, conducted from 6 to 13 July, economists still see the European Central Bank (ECB) raising interest rates in Q3 2019.

Key points:

   “¢   The deposit rate is seen moving up by 15 bps to -0.25% in Q3 2019.
   “¢   Q4 2019 rate forecast now seen at -0.20% (previously -0.15%).
