EUR futures: further consolidation not ruled out

In light of CME Group’s preliminary figures for EUR futures markets, investors scaled back their open interest positions by nearly 2.6K contracts on Friday from Thursday’s final 506,100 contracts. On the other hand, volume rose by almost 24.5K contracts.

EUR/USD dips appear shallow

EUR/USD managed to regained the 1.1400 handle last week although the bull run seems to have lost momentum around 1.1460 (Friday’s top). Recent choppy activity in both volume and open interest leaves the consolidative scenario unchanged for the time being.
