EU’s Moscovici: Ready to move on with disciplinary procedure on Italy if no new commitments from Rome

European Commissioner  for Economic and Financial Affairs Pierre  Moscovici recently said that they were ready to move on with the disciplinary procedure over Italian debt if Rome doesn’t show any new commitments. “We need  new data, a clear path that shows Italy complies with fiscal rules in 2019 and 2020 to avert the disciplinary procedure,” Moscovici explained, as reported by Reuters.
