Home Forex Crunch – Redesigned

Welcome to Forex Crunch! If you’re regular readers, you’ve definitely noticed a significant change in the site’s look and feel. Looks better, right?

Let’s start from the top: Forex Crunch provides  forex commentary with a personal touch and it enjoyed significant growth in 2010. As we turn the page into 2011, it’s time for freshening up. The new logo isn’t only more colorful, but also conveys a message I’d like to emphasize – trade forex responsibly!

There’s much to learn and a lot to be aware of when trading forex. Forex Crunch aims to provide balanced commentary, with real people standing behind the site, and to educate to safer trading.

This is the editorial line running through the site. With more regular and guest contributors, I felt that some important articles were pushed down too quickly. So, at the top, there’s a rich menu, enabling immediate access to different sections and important pages.

The most significant change is a new layout to the homepage. Featured articles slide on top, while the latest news, in chronological order still remain in a top position.

The division to sections allows for quick and colorful access to various types of content – opinions, overview of major pairs, an overview of minor pairs, forex basics and news from the forex industry.

Speaking of colors,  many images have been added to the site, making regular sections such as the EUR/USD daily outlook or the weekly forecasts more accessible and more recognizable.

Also the sidebars on the right hand side have undergone an overhaul, to make them more useful, yet the focus is on the content. Note that the main column now takes more space. This is especially significant when reading single articles. Less scrolling!

And at the bottom, the improved footer also encourages navigation to additional material, exposing stuff that disappeared too quickly beforehand.

I hope you like the new design. I’ve worked on it for quite some time, and it’s never perfect… So, based on feedback, there will be some small modifications in the next few weeks.
