Britain’s Prime Minister Theresa May will travel to Northern Ireland and Wales on Tuesday to rally support for her widely criticized Brexit deal before a vote in parliament, according to Reuters.
May secured agreement with the EU on Sunday that will ensure close trade ties post-Brexit. The odds, however, are stacked against the deal getting approved by a deeply divided British parliament.
Tuesday’s tour will include meetings with political leaders from all parties in Northern Ireland – whose border issue has been a stumbling block in the negotiations.
