Murky markets and further Fed fallout – MM #139

The Ides of March continue echoing and echoing. We discuss further fallouts from the Fed and move to on markets, which are also falling out. Is this the beginning of a downfall?

  1. Fed fallout: The dovish hike continues hurting the greenback and Kashkari’s comments do not help: he dives into the numbers behind the labor market slack.
  2. Murky markets: A risk-off mode  has eclipsed markets: stocks dropped relatively sharply  in comparison to recent stability.
  3. Preview:  The last week of the quarter brings last-minute adjustments, the triggering of Article 50, aka Brexit and quite a few GDP releases.
