UK’s Lidington: Meetings with Labour on Brexit were ‘productive and workmanlike’

British Prime Minister Theresa May’s de-facto deputy Lidington crossed the wires in the last minutes noting that there had been meetings with Labour on Brexit and added that the atmosphere was productive and workmanlike. “The leak on national security council meeting on Huawei is being taken very seriously,” Lidington stated.

The market didn’t react to these remarks and the GBP/USD was last seen trading in the bottom half of its daily range near 1.2880, where it was down 0.15% on a daily basis.
