US Commerce Sec Ross: EU, Canada & Mexico to face steel and aluminum tariffs beginning at midnight

The US Commerce Secretary Wilbur Ross is appearing in a press conference to deliver the latest decision on tariffs.

European Union, Canada, and Mexico will face steel and aluminum tariffs beginning at midnight tonight.
There will be a 25% tariff on steel and a 10% on aluminum.
NAFTA negotiations took too long, that’s why the decision to impose tariffs on Canada and Mexico was taken.
Although talks with the EU showed progress, it wasn’t enough to continue to give exemptions.
