US Pres. Trump shrugs off North Korean weapons test as administration seeks new talks – WSJ

Be it threat to China or likely additional sanctions for Iran, the US President Donald Trump is dominating the market wires since Morning.

Here comes another report from the Wall Street Journal that portrays an altogether different picture of the President Trump by signaling talks with North Korea despite the latest missile tests from the hermit kingdom.

The report states that the Trump administration played down the threat presented by North Korea’s latest weapons tests and said it was eager for a resumption of talks to end the country’s efforts to acquire nuclear missiles.

The US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo was spotted expecting talks to end North Korea’s efforts to acquire nuclear missiles.

It should also be noted that news was on wires that North Korea tested few missiles during the weekend and the tests were overseen by their leader Kim Jong-un.
