USD/JPY Technical Analysis: Roiling around 113.50 on US elections

  • The USD/JPY is whipsawing as markets jostle for position on US  election results that are still coming in, and the Greenback is in full range of motion around the 113.50 level as traders react to election headlines.

USD/JPY M15

  • Moving averages  mean little to the hourly candles for the time being, although the 200-hour moving average at 112.80 is still holding below the day’s early spikes, but a break of 113.00 will see the pair in free-fall.

USD/JPY H1

  • A rough rising trendline on 4-Hour candles  could be in play near current bids, but early election results will be skewing the day’s technical volatility.
