Forex Daily Outlook December 16 2011

We summarize this week CPI in the US as the major event of the day. Here is an outlook on the market-movers awaiting us.

In the US, Consumer Price Index (CPI), measures some goods and services average prices, about to rise up from November by 0.2% to 0.1% this time. And similar rise is expected in the Core CPI (not including energy & food), up to 0.2% from 0.1% on November.

More in the US, Charles Evans, Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago President is due to speak.

Finally in the US, Richard Fisher, Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas President is expected to lector in Austin.

In Canada, Foreign Securities Purchases, value the foreigner’s domestic stocks, bonds etc., and is predicted to rise from 7.35B on November up to 8.23B.

In Europe, Mario Draghi, European Central Bank (ECB) President, is expected to deliver a speech in Rome.

In Great Britain, Nationwide Consumer Confidence, Monthly Survey to rate the upcoming monetary conditions, likely to reduce by 2 points down to 34 points this time from 36 on November.
