FOMC Member Williams Speaks in the Us and Building Approvals in Australia are the main events lined up. Let’s see what awaits us today.

In the US, John Williams, Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco President, is about to speak in Vancouver.

More in the US, Sandra Pianalto, Federal Reserve Bank of Cleveland President, is about to lecture in Wooster.

Later in the US, Wholesale Inventories, value the goods that are kept in inventory, due to reduce from1.6% on December down to 0.5% now.

Finally in the US, Investor’s Business Daily (IBD) / TechnoMetrica Institute of Policy and Politics (TIPP)Economic Optimism, due to rise from 42.8 points  to 45.3 points on this monthly survey.

In Canada, Annualized number of new residential buildings that began construction during the previous month

More in Canada, Housing Starts, value the new residential buildings under construction on the last month, during the previous month, is about to rise by 5K up to 186K.

In Europe, French Industrial Production, manufacturers mines, and utilities output, is about to rise up to 0.1%.

In Great Britain, Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) House Price Balance, leading monthly gauge of housing inflation that is due to further reduce down to -18% from -17% on December.

More in Great Britain, British Retail Consortium (BRC) Retail Sales Monitor, value the retail level of the same-store sales, -1.6% is predicted similar to the last month.
