Out of these, between 166 and 227 are inhabited. So, there are at least 973 uninhabited islands. It’s still hard to believe that Greece will put any of its islands on sale, but if the leader of the country doesn’t rule it out, it shows how grave the situation is, but also how far he is willing to go to keep Greece afloat and in the euro-zone.
