Donald Trump is the next president of the United States. The Republican won the highly contested states of Florida and North Carolina and also held on to Ohio and Iowa. In Michigan and Wisconsin, he is nearing a victory. Also Pennsylvania eventually went for Trump and Wisconsin was the last nail.  While polls showed a close race, this potential outcome is a huge shocker, with crashes in financial crashes, USD/JPY, USD/MXN and more “risk averse” reactions. There was some bounce-back, that could prove temporary.
