OANDA earns Best Value for Money award in the 2013

International forex broker OANDA won an award at the  U.K. Leveraged Trading Report for 2013. Apart from the “best value for money”, OANDA was also voted as the top broker in the commissions categories and in trade execution speed, as well as in the customer service category.

OANDA recently had a change in its top management. For more on the awards, here is the full press release:

LONDON – 20 January, 2014 – OANDA, a global provider of innovative foreign exchange trading services, has been named by U.K.-based forex traders as providing its clients with the best “Value for Money” and “Customer Service”, in the 2013 U.K. Leveraged Trading Report compiled annually by multi-national financial services market research firm, Investment Trends. OANDA is also honoured to be voted as the top forex broker in the trade execution speed and commissions categories in a survey of 13,185 investors and traders.

“We are truly grateful that our clients have rated us the top forex brokerage in these four categories. These honours are important to us and they confirm that providing excellent customer service and speed of execution are critical to forex traders’ overall satisfaction,” said Paul Hayward, Head of Sales, OANDA Europe Limited. “As a technology-driven company, OANDA remains laser-focused on delighting our clients with the fxTrade platform’s reliability, usability, and a low total cost to trade.”

Looking to 2014, OANDA’s industry-leading native mobile application for iPhone, iPad, and Android devices, fxTrade Mobile, continues to be a significant driver of growth for the award-winning company. As highlighted in the Investment Trends report, 70% of traders used a smartphone or tablet for trading in 2013 (up from 58% in 2012), and another 14% intend to start trading via mobile device this year.

“Investment Trends research shows that mobile trading will increasingly become the norm,” said Hayward. “At a minimum, forex brokers need to replicate the desktop experience on their mobile platforms. OANDA has shown consistently strong efforts to go beyond that requirement with fxTrade Mobile by offering advanced technical analysis features, push notifications for news and price alerts, multi-language support, and the ability for traders to identify support and resistance levels on currencies and financial instruments on a smartphone or tablet.”
