Tron has announced that Singapore-based exchange, BitBox has added TRX to its list of tradable instruments. BITBOX exchange was recently launched by LINE Corporation and this listing is aimed at expanding its portfolio. It is a global decentralized platform for exchange digital tokens and has been built using the blockchain. Tron has been honored to be the first asset to go through the review process that has been laid out for listing tokens on the exchange by the BITBOX committee.
“The listing of TRON (TRX) – available for trading now on BITBOX – also shows LINE’s continuing commitment to diversifying its customers’ coin options and developing its cryptocurrency exchange business. As a user-centered exchange, BITBOX is focused on expanding the range of options available for its customers, while also providing efficient and secure cryptocurrency services,” reads the announcement on LINE’s website.
The CEO of LINE Youngsu Ko commented on the listing saying:
“Integrating TRON (TRX) with BITBOX will enable us to connect with the world’s fastest-growing blockchain project.” He added “TRON has a solid tech platform, especially now it has joined forces with BitTorrent. We look forward to building a strategic partnership with TRON and offering our users the best experience available in the cryptocurrency space.”
In other news, The Tron community has elected the newly acquired BitTorrent to be one of the network’s Super Representatives.
“BitTorrent just got elected by the community as one of the 27 #TRON Super Representatives, check out this video and learn more about their team and mission!” Tron Foundation wrote on Twitter.
The Director of Engineering at BitTorrent, Joe Joyce in a video published on Twitter after the announcement said:
“We really look forward to working with the other SRs and to ensure the future of a decentralized internet”

Tron is up over 11.55% in the last 24 hours. Similarly, the token is trading at $0.019, although it spiked above $0.020 on the above listing announcement. The trend is generally bullish at the time of press and TRX/USD could retrace steps above $0.020 in the near-term.
