Tron’s BitTorrent Inc. is offering a new social media, BitTorrent Live. BitTorrent announced:
“BitTorrent Live will provide a social media platform for people to express their creativity and connect with others around the world through live video. The service will allow for continuous live streaming anywhere users can get internet access.”
BitTorrent Live features a Snapchat-like interface and offers users a new way to share video content. The platform is now up and running and allows users to pay for services with BitTorrent Token (BTT). They said:
“BitTorrent Live also will incorporate blockchain technology that returns privacy and ownership to users while also enabling payments with our utility token, BitTorrent (BTT).”
Justin Sun, CEO of Tron, stated:
