- Browser provider Mozilla, have upgraded to new browser versions which will protect against crypto mining malware.

Mozilla Firefox, the major browser provider has announced launching new protections which will block attempts of crypto mining malware in its new browser versions. The update being reported by the browser’s officials blog post on April 9.
The latest upgrade known as Firefox Nightly 68 and Beta 67 versions, has seen Mozilla enable a new layer of protection , blocking crypto mining and fingerprinting hack attacks. The move comes as part of the browser’s Content Blocking suite of protections.
In terms of the new features they have been developed as part of a collaboration with privacy and security software firm Disconnect. They represent a suite of blacklists of malware domains associated with fingerprinting and crypto mining scripts.
