The United State based leading cryptocurrency exchange, Coinbase informed users via statement released on Monday 17 that its new “convert” service is now live.
The new service will allow digital currency to digital currency exchange. For instance, customers will be able to trade Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH), Bitcoin Cash (BCH), Litecoin (LTC), Ethereum Classic (ETC) as well as Ox (ZRX) against each other. The service will be available on several platforms including Coinbase.com, iOS and Android mobile applications.
The “convert” service is currently available to customers 35 countries. At the same time, the company allows native payment access. The exchange said the new service is a “natural progression” in line with the advancement of the platform.
Coinbase is running a campaign referred to as “12 Days of Coinbase” marking the Christmas season. The campaign started on December 10 where the exchange has been rolling out various services including charity. For example, PayPal users can now withdraw fiat directly from Coinbase; a service introduced on December 14. The PayPal service is currently available to US customers, however, the company has plans to expand to other regions.
