Virginia Exit Polls are Tied – Tension Rises

Exit polls from Virginia show a perfect tie at 49% for each candidate. So, everything is still open. Update: Vote count suspended in Virginia.

Update:  Obama is re-elected – EUR/USD jumps towards resistance  – will the dollar continue weakening, or could this turn around?

Vermont goes to Obama and Kentucky to Romney – absolutely no surprises. EUR/USD continues a very slow drip towards 1.28.

Results from Ohio are expected at 00:30 GMT. According to some reports, internal polls within the Romney camp show a significant 5% lead for Obama in Ohio. But this will probably be close.

Update: Indiana is set to go to Romney quite soon – no surprise is expected there. Update 2: Indiana indeed goes to Romney.

Update: CNN projects a victory for Obama in Ohio, 51:48.
